Re: FS13 build process… getting so close.
Super stable as a sup. Not a speed demon though. It seems that I stand farther forward than expected… that causes the bow to ride low in the water. But so far I’m happy with the results. Easy to get back on with the reverse transom, but it also allows a boat wake to fill up the deck if it hits from ...

Re: FS13 build process… getting so close.
I didn’t shorten her at all…. The removed transom may have taken a few inches off. But otherwise to the plans.

FS13 build process… getting so close.
Last spring I started my “lockdown project”. But as it turned out, our business wasn’t as affected as we thought it would. So I have really only done this is fits and starts. Thought I’d share some process of my off menu changes. This is better than my first boat, a GV10. The reverse transom for reb...

Re: FS13 doublers needed?
Hi all. I started my fs13 back in April, got the foam in (I did not enjoy the foam) and then had to put it aside for while. Now I’m back, doubler in where the plans say, plus another behind it. Mine has the transom removed and Is solely a SUP. I’m about to glue the floor/deck down, anyone use west s...

Re: FS13 doublers needed?
Thanks Dougster.
I’m waiting for foam to arrive. But not adding cleats until I decide on my plan.
What thickness ply is the deck on your 14?

Re: FS13 doublers needed?
I’m a little shy of 200. Thanks for asking. ;) I’m using 5mm ply. It’s not marine ply, just exterior rated. All the stringers will have cleats, and the forward bulkhead. The new stern will have extra bracing too, although no one will stand there, it’s just for ease of getting back aboard after a swi...

FS13 doublers needed?
Howdy all. I asked a question in an old thread about the FS13 but didn’t get any luck with answers... I know there aren’t many of these being built. Or so not seems. At any rate since time has passed my questions have changed. At this point I am waiting on the foam to arrive and finishing up cleats ...

Re: How small a motor can I put on a FS13?
I attached some pictures... but so far I haven’t modified anything. Except I propped up the stern slightly to add a little rocker for paddling ease. I’m at the point where I will have to make my mods now. Although the stern isn’t my question right now... I have a plan for that involving an interior ...
