Re: C17 open 'Fair Enough' in France

I would not put the fuel in the cc because I would not want to smell fuel vapors or worry about my friend smoking by the vent. You let people smoke on your boat? That action has a walk-the-plank punishment on my boat. All the best for the build Olivier. Looks like you are off to a good start.

Have you tried a different supplier for the same part? Just thinking that in our part of the world things can sit on a shelf, exposed to UV, etc. for years. Maybe the quality of the impellers isn't dropping but there is just a backlog of old and degraded ones they are slowly getting rid of.

128 gallons @$6 is $768 Wife not gonna enjoy seeing that. Was curious so converted our prices to US$ and gallons. Here in NZ regular is $6.58/gal and premium $6.82/gal at a self service station, or at a full service station regular $6.90/gal and premium $7.36/gal. Add roughly another $0.24/gal if f...

Hi GB. I was curious about Varnol so did a quick search. According to forum posts on other forums: Varnol is not made anymore which would explain why it is hard to find. Similar products/mixes are known as boat soup in the US with recipes online in forums e.g. Varnol mix anyone Some people recommend...

From the title I was envisaging a hull made of ice. Your idea seems far more fun

Re: GV10 Stop and Start Project

Finally found tie to give the motor a tune up in the weekend. Idle mixture was miles off but now running well after adjustment. Throttle stop was limiting it to 3400rpm at wide open throttle so no wonder I was having issues getting on the plane previously, now set to the proper 5000RPM which should ...
