Polyisocyanurate Foam

I would appreciate your comments with reference to using Celotex as a foam core laminated with glass cloth and epoxy resin, for a superstructure on the DE25, as I have a set of plans I purchased about 4 years ago. Doesn't time fly? :D I have access to a range of thicknesses up to 7 inches, all 8' x ...

The PBB archives should be required reading, because from June/July 2005 the coverage about building boats of all sizes and shapes is just huge. Nigel Caldwell's articles about electrical power for boats reveal the extent to which living with boats can be improved. Page 74 http://www.proboat-digital...

The film I use is Polyester, not Lexan. As there is no sanding, it's hard to know whether the method is wasteful of resin. Who weighs the dust from sanding? :D :D :D This is my UK supplier. I shall have to call them tomorrow about the catalogue suspension. Remember, abrasives cost and as for the dus...

There will be no Altairnano when EeStor get really started. It's about price. Altairnano are hoping to get their price down from $2 to $1 per watt hour. EeStor published this. # For a 52 kWh unit, an initial production price of $3,200, falling to $2,100 with mass production is projected.[6] This is ...

Dont't buy a diesel just yet!

Just thought I'd up the ante with this information about battery power. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EEstor http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supercapacitor http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZENN_Motor_Company I do not think we are looking at a scam here. What we could be seeing is one company developing a pr...
