Re: Landing craft, quad sized.

There are runners on the bottom side so it can be hauled up on the beach. Wood is white cedar, fasteners are stainless. When w...

Re: Tips for drawing batten/plywood parts storage??
I'm not sure how small your "small boat" is. Mine was 14.5'. For a batten I used a 16' length of 7/16 x 1-5/8 clear pine from the box store. I might have found it in the mouldings section. Worked like a champ and I still have it.

Re: Hybird MF14
The first test drive showed that the driver can't see the boat and trailer at all in the rear-view mirrors. It's too low for the central mirror and too skinny for the side mirrors. That's a problem when trying to change lanes - you can't tell how much space you need. So I rigged a flag to the rudder...

Many thanks! You can. That finish is care of a random orbital sander of the epoxy coat down to 150 grit, then seven coats of varnish. The first three coats get got sanded with 220 grit. After that it was green ScotchBrite by hand between coats. Vacuum and wipe down with denatured alcohol after sandi...

Finished fiddlin' with the trailer. https://www.community.boatbuildercentral.com/gallery/albums/userpics/91275/514_Modified_Trailex_SUT-250S-CLC.JPG Sadly, the cherry tree has moved on to making cherries so now the boat is doing it's best to look better than our trash cans. :D But in the cherry tree...
