Re: Building supplies free and throttle control FS
Hi wpstarling. I actually don’t mind packing it up and sending it if don’t mind covering the shipping costs. I can’t imagine it’s that expensive??? I’d rather see it used than thrown away. PM me and we can figure it out.

Hello all! It's been a long long time since I've posted here. I hope all is well! My build has been done for quite some time. It was an awesome project! Honestly I think I had as much fun building it as I do using it. With that said, I don't foresee myself building anything again any time soon so fi...

Mounting gauges/attaching hardware
Curious what the thoughts are on mounting the instrument gauges to the console. Specifically tach, pressure, speed, etc. Do you use a sealant when mounting? Something like 4200? Or just tighten. The mounting instructions don't seem to specify and looking around online it seems a lot of people just s...

Well ya beat me!!!! Congrats on the launch!! Boat looks awesome! I was making some headway and then baseball season got underway. Both boys really into it. Hoping to get back at it again soon now that it's wrapping up a bit. My goal is not to be one of the 7 out of 10 mentioned above! Congrats again!!

Re: Lower's FS17
No worries. I'm learning too. Thanks for the link willg. Looks like a lot of useful information. So I measured for my steering cable last night. Used a garden hose and followed the directions on the sea star (teleflex) site. My measurement from center of wheel to midpoint of transom was 13' almost e...

Re: Lower's FS17
Oh and one other thing I should have mentioned. I made a template out of cardboard first. Went through a couple iterations until it looked right. Secondly I did some trial cuts and bends on scrap lean. It's important to know where the bend occurs vs where you drew your line.

Re: Lower's FS17
Thanks guys. Like I said this was new to me but if anyone is giving this a shot and has quesstions fire away. Happy to help if I can. Blue flood--I read about it but haven't done it yet. I gave the edges a quick sand but need to finish them. Didn't know if I was going to keep sanding or try the flam...
