Re: Once boat is near finished-let's talk the electrics

You went into detail how your system is hooked up and if I remember correctly, the outboard does not charge all 6 of those batteries. And, if I remember correctly again, you know how long you can troll before the trolling batteries need to be charged, shore powered charged? You are going to have to...

Once boat is near finished-let's talk the electrics

There is not a "TOPIC" area for this and a lot of talk inside builder's threads have been talking about this. It would be nice if there was a fast and easy way to find subjects about wiring and electrical without cluttering up builder threads about it. Electrical should be in a subject by ...

Looking good!

With all those kids' bikes, does that mean you have a few helpers?

Re: Another FS17 Build Thread

I think Narfi is right, just dried drips from glassing while the hull was upside down.

The inside taping job looks great!

Re: BarraMan's Mangusta 21 barraboat in Townsville, AUS

Do you have an amp gauge connected to the outboard, to see what output it has to do after you have been trolling all day and the trolling motor batteries have been drained somewhat? Your smart chargers seem to also keep the OB charging system from "straining" and burning itself up all the ...

Re: Woods Skoota 32DM

Wow! Just WOW!

Big difference, all the tools and equipment that doesn't belong really catches the eye. Maybe you should have had the wife helping paint the hulls, maybe you wouldn't have had such a hard time!

Re: Woods Skoota 32DM

My boat has 6 x 12v batteries and 4 x onboard smart chargers - works just fine! 8O Go figure! You went into detail how your system is hooked up and if I remember correctly, the outboard does not charge all 6 of those batteries. And, if I remember correctly again, you know how long you can tro...

Re: GF16 questions.

Just remember you are going to be running Gulf coast bays, not to many rocks or gravel to worry about in coastal waters. Concrete and oyster beds don't do the same damage as rocks and gravel that have been smoothed down from fast moving water. What speed will you be intentionally hitting these thing...

Re: Woods Skoota 32DM

I am far from being a fisherman but enjoy going through the motions. I don't think I know enough about fish to even live off them if I had to and only coastal fishing for me. Water starts turning blue clear and I wouldn't know what to do but I do know, it would be too far away from land. 8O Buying a...

Re: Woods Skoota 32DM

Bet that is a good feeling! My little boat looks like it can fit inside that area!

That battery locker holds two batteries?
But that is not all of them, right?
