Thinking of selling my LM18.
I'm thinking of selling my LM18. My wife said that if I want to build another boat I need to sell the one I have. To be honest the boat is in florida and I don't use it enough to justify having it, but it is so fun to drive and a fun to fish out of. Since I brought it down to my moms house I have on...

Re: Looking for boat plans for my next build
Barra Man I believe to you increase the side height of your build? The design looks very rounded on top. Did you make the side match the center height or increase additional after that? I think I read your side height is 33"? Anybody have a gunnel height measurement for the OB19 or C 19 thanks ...

Re: Looking for boat plans for my next build
Well for summer fishing we are casting. It must have a front deck. In the winter we put on a front cover so if you take spay it shed off the front vs. coming into the boat. That is why we use the auto deploy minnkota ulterras to auto deploy the trolling motor. Any idea of the gunnel height between t...

Re: Looking for boat plans for my next build
I really love the fishability of a tiller, but I do love being nice and warm behind a windshield. Most of my buddies fish dual console boats with full canvas. You sacrifice fishing space, but worth it when we troll for fish in November before ice up. The boat brand we have found over the years that ...

Looking for boat plans for my next build
I loved the experience of building my LM 18, so much so that I'm looking to build another boat. Kids are now both in college, so I have a ton more free time. I also just finished rehabbing a house and turned it into an Airbnb. I'm looking to build a boat to musky fish and walleye fish out of. The la...

Re: LM18 Tunnel Build - NC
I would go 4 blade. It will give you lift, slows your top speed, handles better, and make you plane faster(which doesn't matter for this boat). My lm18 planes in about 3' of distance.

Re: Trolling motor LM 18
Yes, 48" would be fine as the front of the boat is only a foot and half off the water. Now that you mention it I bought a 48" not the 54".

I have a 55lb trust 54" shaft 12v rip tide with Ipilot. I fish in the current with spot lock and love it. In general I have never thought man I need more power. Once the current get to 5MPH + I generally will anchor. I don't think you want the additional weight of the 80Lb trust as it requires ...

Re: LM18 CC-TX build
I went with the spring loaded auto levelers. I was having a lean to the port side at speed and couldn't figure it out for the life of me. After installing and running with both down I still had a lean to the port side. Then it dawned on me. I have one of those long structure scan transducers, it was...
