RB18 - Hull thickness

Hello !

A supplier offers me a 5.5mm thickness plywood. Isn't it too thin to make the hull ? Normally the plan says 1/4" or 6mm; and officially 1/4" = 6.35mm...

What to do ?

Thanks for your help !

Merci pour votre aide Jacques !
