Yes it is a flexible plastic conduit. I chose this because I was able to make longer more gentle turns. Or tight turns where needed.

epoxy will "stick" very well to roughed up PVC pipe. Joel I think ( correct me if I'm wrong) he has some of those black flexible chase pipes sold at marine stores, those won't stick. I missed that, sorry. In that case, I agree that a bead of 5200 along the top is a good idea. I would stil...

You either should get some epoxy putty in there (either by smashing it in with a spreader, or injecting) OR grind it off and try again. The glass is not doing any good there the way it is now. I tried forcing in epoxy. Wasn't happy with results. Beside it would make my stringers taller than planned...

Overall it looks really good. You may want to consider moving the cabin a bit more forward. Just so you get more useable fishing/rigging space.
