Re: Suzuki/Tohatsu High Thrust

I have the 9.9 EFI suzuki with a 4 blade prop on my HMD 19, it works great for that purpose. the Suzuki 9.9/15/20 are all the same with just different computers/air intake/restrictor plates. If you can handle the price increase and a couple extra pounds i would go for the suzuki 25 for the larger ge...

That took me a bit to process, but i see what you did now. That is super slick. Those BB's are going to be sturdy little battering rams. lol.

You should be incredibly proud of that boat and your accomplishment. She is a beauty! Nice fish too!

That is the nice thing about this building procedure. Almost anything can be repaired and fixed properly. Keep up the good work, the end is in sight.

Re: MM21

Suzuki has a rebate on some outboards right now. This company is where I got my 25HP and it worked out great for me. Also where I picked up my 20 hour service kit, service manual, control cables and a gallon of motor oil. https://onlineoutboards.com/collections/suzuki-outboard-motors/horsepower_-9-...

Re: MM21

While I don't have that same boat. I do have an HMD19. Which is similar. I wouldn't waste my time with a small diesel for these boats. I have a 2021 suzuki 9.9 efi with power trim and tilt. It was $3000 with controls. It gets ~12nmpg at 5 knots. It is essentially silent, so much so that I was flushi...

Re: C19 in Richmond, VA

What is the low cleat for? Run the dock line through the fairlead and down to the cleat. It keeps the cleat off the gunnel. Not often seen on boats of this size, but i love the execution. Phil That's it. Classic 19 deserves a classic detail! Stumbled upon the layout when I bought the hardware at a ...
