Re: HMD 19 - Yoda's legacy continues
is it possible to "tent" the entire boat? I painted the hull of a sailboat i had at the time. A couple of space heaters was all that was needed to heat up the space. It got quiet warm underneath the tent and make working during the winter possible.

Re: Hickman Sled 18 Bonus plans
I have noticed it seems like most of the original Hickman sea sleds have sides that are close to vertical while most of the non Hickman designs flare out in the sides. Why is this or am I just seeing things wrong?

Re: Hickman Sled 18 Bonus plans
The spreadsheet version is what I did wrote last night. Just need to get all the dimensions now and have the labeled as to the corresponding positions. Is there a reason this boat couldn't be built as a sheathed strip instead of stitch and glue? Or how about making flat panels from strips and using ...

Re: Hickman Sled 18 Bonus plans
How would on go about getting the proper stringers for the HS18? The beam of the hs18 looks to be 86". Could this design be scaled by 15% to get a max beam of 99" and length of 21'-2"? I I was thinking of 3/8" plywood for the hull. Also is there a provision for the HS18 plans in ...

Re: Fuel Fun
Yes the "circle thing with screws " should be your fuel gauge. The other 90 coming off the tank with a the 1/2" plug should be another access point. You could try opening that and using a jump. Or you could pump it all out with the primer bulb.
