Re: Panga 22 Slow Cooker
Good looking work! I love the effiency of the Panga. Poachers from Mexico love them in the Gulf of Mexico. They wash up on the southern Texas coast often.

Re: Shanty boat build - self design BBC materials
Nice looking work.
You are two steps ahead of my build. I’m so close to a flip.

Re: XF20 Raised Console
I’m currently building the XF-20. I’m in Corpus Christi and fish the Upper Laguna Madre to Baffin. I see a lot of tower boats. The platform of this boat matches or exceeds the boats I see. The Shoalwaters, Majeks, Transports, Haynies. I would put a tower on it with no worries of stability. I raised...

Rolling and tipping quality yacht paint is so satisfying. I used awlgrip on my last build, the Interlux seems to be just as good of a product.

Re: CCTXF20
Port Aransas Wooden Boat Festival is this weekend. Come and visit us again!!! This will be the first year (other than the Covid) that I’ve missed. “Forever Young” my D-15 first made an appearance in 2015. I had this boat out there last year as an in progress boat. It seems to be more of a Farley Bo...

Re: CCTXF20
It’s been a while since I’ve been able to make any progress on the boat but I’m back at it again. Primed and epoxy/graphite bottom coat is almost finished.

Re: XF 20
Grind down tape edges with a rotary. I use a scraper a lot to. Research a linbide scrapper.
Then fill with micro ballon thickened epoxy, hit the high spots with 80 grit on the orbital.
Quick fair application and sanding with the long board 3 times.
