Re: Panga 20 MOD.
The drawing below shows the original stem as per the plans (black). - Taking in what has been said - Screenshot 2023-04-26 at 10.09.18.png 1. I will keep the original stemline created by the drawing and shown above. 2. Add the shape modification to the Hull "Sides" pattern ensuring accurat...

Good morning! I love this forum for the very replies posted above. I have been here a year or so but I post very little, the attention and time you guys give to advice and opinions is second to none. Re: Panga 20 MOD.
Phil: That makes sense mate. I imagine I can do that also with the Hull-side pieces. If I can cut them with a little extra meat on the width, I could draw the new shape on the side once flipped?
Cheers Mate, I just needed to look further down the process. Awesome.

Panga 20 MOD.
Good morning all! I want to make the below modification to my Panga 20 build. I have several reasons for this mod but most importantly for easier bow access which is the preferred method of loading boats here in the Philippines. I can work out the modifications required for Stations A, B, & C, r...

Re: Panga 20 Plans - where the F?
Station F is at the motorwell bulkhead. It is the motorwell bulkhead. Since F is a full piece of plywood that looks exactly like the station F (= mold), I don't show any details for it on the frames drawing. Better than to draw a new outline on plywood, use the molds to draw the outlines for each f...

Re: Panga 20 Plans - where the F?
Frames and Stations are the same thing. Just different words for the same thing. :D  Tom Thanks Tom!, ok with that in mind, I have one sheet titled Stations with A-F + Transom that are basic hull shape obviously for setting up the mold.. Then I have a Sheet titled "Frames" with A-E +...

Re: Anodised Fiberglass
Well, we got some decent weather allowing me to get a couple o 300 x 300mm samples down on a piece of standard ply - no marine ply on hand as yet. Here are my observations. Epoxy: West Systems 105 with 206 Hardener. Cutting: The glass cut beautifully with my Fiskers HD Circular cloth cutter. No issu...

Anodised Fiberglass
Hi Team, I got a couple of samples of Anodised Fibreglass this morning. This is NOT Carbon Fiber but Fibreglass that has been charged and anodised with Aluminium powder. From what I can tell from handling the cloth (300gsm) is that feels slightly stiffer and because of this it lays down on a flat su...
