Thanks, thinking of building the c21, I did the fs17 which I love, but want to get off shore a bit more. Whit speed and seaworthiness.

Why is the HP rating lower for the 21, study plans state 125 max vs 150 for the c19? and can the c21 be rated for a 150?

FS17 Oar locks

I left my fs17 wide open with a tiller controled 25hp and raised the sheer 6 inches I have found times when rowing the boat would have been usefull. Anybody got any suggestions regarding the installation?

I did the same thing only about .75" lower than the deck, i angled the pvc down , i get water in thru the scuppers when backing down the ramp and when every one goes to the stern one side or the other to see a fish come up , they get yelled at to trim and man thier rails. Wish i had fixed it be...

Now in the middle of my 2nd season on my fs17 the epoxy coat on my deck is worn to bare wood on most of the deck and some of the topside locations that i choose to coat with just epoxy no paint ( the wood just looks to good to paint) the seams on the deck are intack as well as small patches of epoxy...

the nesting plan does not show the full frames/molds at some stations , the dementions of some of the frames/molds are wider than an 8 foot plywood pannel, are some of these frames temps? and are they glassed together than cut? thanks Tom im guessing the wieght at around 1000lbs loaded engine suzuki df25 RPM 4700-5300 gear ratio 2.09:1 water line im guessing as well, 15.5' Yes I do mean the rpm limeter. It just does not feel right planeing at just over half throttle, you can feel its turning too fast at full throttle. than...

I have suzuki 25 tiller controlled 4 stroke with a 10 inch pitch prop. It runs the boat at 20mph at just over half throtle, at wide open it shuts down on over rpm. My question is with out a tach, how to choose how much pitch shoud i go up , i can get 11 12 13 14 or 15 pitch for this motor. thanks ja...
