Re: FS 17 taking shape

Thank you cottontop and peter-curacao! Great to see both of you on here!!! I just got through flipping through both of your pictures and posts... Peter, I can't wait until your 25 is done! You've both built some beautiful boats. John, I think another boat is in your near future with retirement that ...

Also, it's great to go through the threads and see so many familiar names building! Awesome so see Larry with so many builds under his belt :D Goodness boat building is addictive... hopefully, one day, I will be in a place financially to build again.

Re: FS 17 taking shape

It's been a few years since I've been on the forum. However I wanted to chime in and say my FS17 is still going strong. She's in the same condition as when I finished building her in 2007/2008. I don't go out as much as I use to (maybe once a month at best) but over the past 5 Summers I've happily c...

Re: A British FS17

Hey Steve! Man your boat looks great and I'm excited to see your numbers on it! I really dig the high sides! :!: I peep in ocassionally to look at the builds but not as much as I should. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. It's hard to imagine what I did before a boat

Re: FS 17 IN HOMESTEAD PICTURES

Farouk was a very nice fellow, I spoke to him many times and he came to see us more than once. His son joined the board and posted about about his passing a few months ago, I told him we would do what we could to help him finish his dad's boat. Im sure he is missed by a lot of people. Joel Thanks J...

Re: FS 17 IN HOMESTEAD PICTURES

Hello all, I'm sorry to post that our friend Farouk Khan (Bushmaster) has passed away. I received a call from his wife the other day confirming this most unfortunate news. While it was no secret he was having health problems his family and lively spirit had kept him motivated. While his boat was the...

What are the average seas like there?
It's very flat. Lots of current because of the tide but other than that it's really nice.
