Re: GV15 Build
I had the opportunity to see this beauty the other day, thanks Ken! He is doing a fabulous job and it is absolutely beautiful. I love the size and the way he is thinking of laying it out. I can't wait to see it come together

Re: GF16 in NC to view?
Hi Mark, I live in Burlington but both of my bateau boats stay in Varnumtown, Brunswick County. I would be glad to show them to you if you are ever in that area. I try to get down there every other weekend or so. You give me enough time, I might be able to give you a test ride in a gf16! :) As silly...

Re: C-19 Builder in Wilmington, NC?
I remember going to a Cape Fear Community College Wooden Boat Show back around 2008. It was held adjacent to the Cape Fear River in Wilmington. There were several neat simmons sea skiffs and strip boats in the show. We walked around afterwards and behind the buildings, I saw a boat that caught my ey...

Re: GF16 In The PSL
I pop in from time to time to see how my fellow boat building friends are doing and tend to follow boat building threads about boats that I am familiar with a little more often. When I saw this thread about the rocker, I sent Gary a PM about my experience with my gf14. I advised not to let the rocke...

Re: HM 19 Wellington NZ
Sorry ab.....I have been out of town this weekend and my boat is as the coast. If I remember correctly, I put just a tiny bit of fall on the scupper drains to make sure that they were at or just below sole level.....maybe 1/4 - 1/2 inch! I really don't remember exactly, but that is how I would do it...

Re: HM 19 Wellington NZ
You can stop the sole at the rear most frame with individual floors in the rear compartments. I raised those floors (with an inspection hatch) to be just above the scupper drain tubes. The hole in the top of the rear frame is the fuel fill and the smaller hole just below that is the fuel vent. I am ...
