You can get birch aircraft ply down to 1/64 - .4mm with 3 plies. Used the thin ply making rc aircraft.

Dave That's 2 to 3 oz. of water based latex tint per gallon of paint. It usually takes much less than that to get the desired color. Using the orca white as a base just use the mixing ratio that the paint store uses with white their white base latex and you'll get results very close to their charts....

Richard Have you got a motor yet? If not I recommend a 70 hp. The reason being they can turn a larger dia prop and that makes a huge difference in the amount of ventilation you'll have.
