Re: wooden shoe competition sailing

Could you post information on the shoe manufacturer and model, perhaps even ordering info for us non-Dutch speaking types?

I believe the problem is that HTML is turned off in this forum an your object embed requires the HTML tags to work. You could post just the link to the video like this but you lose the size function, or post the link to the Utube site video.

3 times around the world

(edit)
Their website running fine now.

Login/Posts since last visit trouble

I noticed over the last couple of days that everytime I would come to the forums I was not logged in and I couldn't use the "View posts since last visit" function. I thought I had a cookie problem at first, so I tried clearing my cookies and retrying login/exit/return, still no change. Tur...

The problem is that there are so many types of plastics and different techniques for each. My motorcycle can be repaired with ABS cements with fillers or reinforcements. Here's a link to a book that covers some of the basics of plastic bodywork repair. http://www.themotorbookstore.com/repair-plastic...

I'm in Carmichael with a SH14 in slow progress in a garage in downtown Sac. It's been kind of an on and off build but I intend to get back on it soon. I got a motorcycle recently (first one in 20 yrs.) and wouldn't mind the ride over your way.

Will it float?

Since this is a support forum for Bateau designed epoxy stitch and glue composite boats I doubt you will get many answers here. I would suggest doing a google search on composite fiberglass construction. Unless you are familiar with composites and their properties designing something yourself would ...

I've used System Three General Purpose Epoxy in my apartment to laminate my centerboard and rudder. Odor was not a problem but I could open a window. The Material Safety Data Sheets for System Three products are available at http://www.systemthree.com/msds.asp They recommend adequate ventilation. Be...

The fact that you would need to build in/on a solid mold would increase the complexity of the build (unlike the foam core method using a strip form). The fact that the resin forms part of the core material would substantially increase the cost of the construction.
