I am worried about glue seeping out from the clamped pieces of plywood during the Rub Rail installation. Is there a way to prevent this from occurring? Thanks.

Should there be any time lapse between the tape joint / putty application and the following final fiberglass covering?

Can the skeg be glued to the underside of the boat after laying the fiberglass (post cure) ? Or is it better to glue the skeg directly to bare wood?

For the FL 12, is it accpetable to double laminate the front and rear of boat for additional strength and if so can the process of putty and tape be repeated?
