Re: OD16 - How do you glue the hull panel to the stringers when the decking (sole) is already in place?
The build method for the OD16 is a little different than the other plans on here. Coat the topside of the bottom panel with epoxy. Glue the stingers to the bottom panel. Glue in your bracing between the stingers. Coat the underside of the sole with epoxy. When you're ready add a thick layer of epoxy...

Re: OD16 and foam / bilge water
When I built my OD16 I foamed and sealed everything below the sole. I have not had any issues (that I know of) but I also do not have any penetrations below the sole. Re: DE25 Long Cabin Inside Stringer
I believe the measurement I am looking for is 7 5/8". That section of the stinger extends above the sole to help make the cabin bunks. Looking at Frame D it shows it being extended above the base line by 7 5/8". Just would like a confirmation. http://gallery.bateau2.com/albums/userpics/196...

DE25 Long Cabin Inside Stringer
Drawing E271/6 shows the inside stringer. I need to get the distance down from the base line.

Re: Bilge area paint?
I used Bilge-Kote....the can says to contact Interlux before applying to epoxy....I can't specifically remember what the tech people said but pretty sure I had to prime before applying. Just be sure to double check before you go that route.

I am here in chesapeake. I hunt currituck, knotts island, and back bay. Ice will not be an issue for these boats in and around here.
