Re: Original or copies?
The plans are now officially ordered :D (did I get the first set sold?) Now I gotta place an order for the remainder to finish my Fl14 as well as enough to get a good start (or complete) the MI12 :help: It is really getting addictive. I've not even finished one and I'm starting another already. I h...

Re: filler ?
Thanks. I read a bunch on drilling, filling and redrilling. I didn't even think not to do this to the scuppers as they are in the transom and at/in the water. Guess what I was wondering is when I go to fill these should I use straight wood flour or add something else to the mix? Now I'm a bit nervo...

Re: filler ?
You could also just finish the edges of your larger holes. Just paint them up with a couple of layers of epoxy. Just like any exposed bit of ply.

Re: epoxy Bottle pumps?
I recieved my shipment of epoxy for the GV11. I had hoped that those pumps would be included. The pumps I am speaking of allow for easy mixing. One pump from one bottle and two from the other for the right mixture. You get the point. Does anyone know who might carry those (Homedepot or a paint stor...

Re: D4/D5 seat tops
You will take measurements of the partially finished hull to contruct the seat tops. This ensures that the seat tops will fit well. You may fill the area under the seats with foam or seal them up empty. You may use them as storage. They are all valid options.

Re: Filling holes with Epoxy
When filling holes I use wood flour as a thickener. Consistency less than a fillet but close. I get a popsicle stick that will fit in the hole. put your epoxy into a zip lock with the corner cut off very small. You want to squeeze out a trickle of thickened epoxy that is quite a bit smaller than the...

Re: Tri Hull Bayliner Rebuild Sole issues
Im starting the body work on the boat, and theres a lot of it. Any good links that would help explain or show real pics of the whole process of putty and epoxy application? I have a basic understanding of the process. I almost want to do a layer of epoxy over the entire hull after I putty and sand ...
