Re: OD18 - NH Technical Questions

I'd just go with Hydraulic steering. I went with hydraulic and I came out of the locker. In my opinion I love the Hydraulic and would do it again in a minute. :D

Re: Drain tube flaring tool

Thats for the 1" drain tubes. If you are using the 1 1/4" drain tubes you need the 1 1/4" flanging tool. The ones circulating around here are both sizes.

Re: Dremmel multitool sanding pad

What the hell, thought I'd pipe in here just to let ya'll know how we do in AZ. Looking at my electric bills, All in, everything I'm paying between .16 and .17 depending on how much I use in off peak time. Water is the same every month no matter how much I use, $30.00 but that puts about $10.00 a mo...

Re: Transom issues on Clara!

and then probably buy a 4 blade stainless that will give her the best performance. Thats what I finally ended up with years ago. The 4 blade stainless keeps her from porpoising and no need for whale tail. Top speed isnt as good but cruising at 25 is fine by me :D and hole shots are great. Craig, yo...

Re: Painting over 3m 5200

I've painted over 5200 with Awlgrip which is a very hard finish, with no flexibility, and it has held up fairly well. I'm also just talking about a small bead, not a large area. I suspect it will eventually crack over time, but so far I've seen it hold up for a few years. I think it acts like varni...

Painting over 3m 5200

Got a question here, Has anyone painted over 3m 5200? I'm redoing a inflatable boat floor (wood) and I'm going to use some 5200 to seal any aluminum parts that might have a crack that could let water in. The bottom of the floor is just going to be SilverTip Yacht Primer and the top is going to be Si...
