Re: 2017 Southeast builder's meet

I'm booked for Friday thru Sunday. Might try to add Thursday later on...depending on life... Will bring the XF and park her on the beach as well. I booked a room with 2 queen beds. More than likely, my wife and family will not be joining me, so there may be an extra bed available OR I'd be willing t...

Re: Xf20

Oh, how I remember those days. Looks great. Seeing it all come together like that sure gives you the boost of confidence you'll need when it comes time for the fairing and sanding

This is a dumb question, but I gotta ask. Glue the three 1/2" meranti for the transom before or after stitching to hull/stringers/sides?
I did it afterwards and after the after the boat was flipped. Didn't hurt anything in my case.

Re: Xf20

Regarding the black boat, it was indeed one of the models I used when building my boat. I relied heavily on Richard's build as well, as he was a little more detailed on the posts :D But with the black boat, I think even Ken would agree that it might have a little too much "stuff" on it. It...

Thanks for the pictures Richard. I didn't take many myself, though I got a few below. I regret not getting a picture of Mike's (Seaslug) boat. It was truly a gem. Hopefully someone got some pictures of it. Another greet meet and some excellent food...perhaps the best we've had...thanks David!!!!!! T...

Potato salad holds a special place in my heart :D

Drug the XF out the barn yesterday afternoon and gave her a good scrubbing. She's ready to roll 8)

Will be there Friday around mid-day.

Just in case anyone hasn't checked, the weather this weekend is going to be phenomenal. Saturday is going to be gorgeous. I venture to say we couldn't ask for better conditions.
