Re: Fitz 21 CC Transom Stringer Sole R&R
So I have a question for the board... :help:  How should I finish off the transition/edge between the transom and splashwell. Should I find some vinyl corner molding and just cut the miters to get as good of a fit as I can on both edges? Metal? As you can see here, it has pretty rounded bends a...

I do hope to have the transom painted this weekend and get the motor and jack plate mounted next week. It chec...

Re: Fitz 21 CC Transom Stringer Sole R&R
Thanks Craig and Larry! That means a lot coming from a couple of guys with your skills and experience. Yes it has been a long haul, with many interruptions, but I am going to finish this thing or die trying! I started fitting the leaning post tonight, and took a few pix of the setup. I also finished...

Re: Fitz 21 CC Transom Stringer Sole R&R
A few more pix. I have the front casting deck painted in two good coats and it looks killer. Mounted some of the rod holders, and have completed all of the rigging under the console. I'll be finishing up the paint this week hopefully, and can start on the Kiwigrip. http://gallery.bateau2.com/albums/...

Re: Fitz 21 CC Transom Stringer Sole R&R
Console going on today! I have been finishing up a few wiring chores before I bolt it up. I am using some nice waterproof quick connectors (see link below)to join things up so I can simplify the connection process between the wiring coming from the chase tubes up to the control panels etc. A little ...

Re: Need suggestions - Leaning Post (well, box)
You could easily make a simple "wrap and staple" vinyl covered leaning pad on that front 90 degree corner. It would look nice and save your butt on long days..
