How far are you from Winston Salem, NC? There is a wood shop called The Hardwood Store in Gibsonville, NC near Winston Salem that stocks Okume and Meranti in mostly all available thickness. Prices are about as inexpensive as you will find. Might be worth the drive.

I can keep my shop out here around 63 F with my heater when it gets into the low 30’s. So far I’ve been using MarinEpoxy with fast hardener with good luck. That said, I’ve been keeping my epoxy and hardener inside my house. It’s pretty hard to use when it’s under 70 degrees.
