Thanks Mike, my intent is to sandwich the MDF between 2x4's and through bolt. I'm building a fairly ridgid jig that will be able to be moved around with casters without compromising its integerity.

I'm gathering materials for my CS25 jig, and I'm considering using the MDF for the temporary stations(I've elected not to use the final pieces). Has anyone used this stuff on a boat this size and if so what was your experience?

I'm building the CS25. I noticed that the method mentioned for joining together the long panels is a splice with glass applied to both sides. Why not scarf the joint.
