Hi , I do not want to distract from the interesting conversation about supplying your boat with perfect electronic devices but while I was reading in your thread I wondered what happened to featherpram ? Will you take it along as the new tender or stick with the R13 or will the nicely cleaned blow u...

Re: ST21 'Skinnydip' build, and boating adventures, Noosa, Australia

Hi, As I need the guiding poles only when I get the boat out of the water I made them removable so they are again in the cars boot when I trailor the boat home. I just stick the smaller aluminium square tube with its vertical plastic pipe into the permanently mounted aluminium traverse and put a bol...

Re: ST21 'Skinnydip' build, and boating adventures, Noosa, Australia

Re: AD16 (Tipsy) Myrtle Beach

Hi, Beautiful pictures, this is exactly what I also want to do as soon I can take my Adelie to the water. Now it is still too cold. I have one question about the picture with a red plastic container behind the transom. Is this a petrol tank for your outboard and how did you attach it ? Is it permane...

Re: AD 14 KIELGE

Hi, As You all know a boat is never finished and therefore I show you what I have done to make my life easier when I slip my boat. It takes me 20 minutes at the slip until I am ready to push the boat into the water. I tested this at a shopping centre parking lot without the boat on the trailer so I ...

Re: Epoxy fillets ingridients confusion

Hi, I used all three of them for all my boats fillets always 40 % woodflour 40 % microballoons and 20 % silica and mostly I achieved that by adding 1 teaspoon full of silica and 2 for wood flour and micro balloons. I stirred the ingredients into the epoxy after the epoxy was stirred for 5 minutes by...

Re: ST21 'Skinnydip' build, and boating adventures, Noosa, Australia

Hi, It looks like birds have left the nest, I preferred it with the boat in it. All the best for the new start. Hopefully you will still keep posting on a regular basis. As I mentioned earlier that my first glance into the forum are your posts I wish I would find them more often again. Greetings fro...
