Re: How to archive your builds to your own system

Hi Jayson, This is very good I have saved my thread and even printed the first 10 pages, but best of all is that I have all the pictures in chronological order and have seen things I have forgotten already. It is also nice to save other Builders threads to study the printed version just like reading...

Re: Adelie16 from a land down under

Hi Salvatore,
I love this new old video of yours and it shows me so well how one can modify the boat. This means you have cut the top of ring frame B away to be able to walk forward. I think I will copy your splendid idea. Do I have to reinforce the deck some more on the sides ?

Re: Adelie16 from a land down under

Hi Salvatore, Thank you for your quick answer and so well documented with pictures. I built my companionway on my AD14 exactly according to plan and it is open between frame C and B with a sliding roof. My problem up to now was always to reach to the mast partner fittings. That is why I will cut a b...

Re: Adelie16 from a land down under

Hi Salvatore, Thank you so much for your answer and that all is well on your side of the world. If you moved the mast a bit back does that mean it is exactly where you built the forward hatch which I also want to build ? Only Bogieman has built an Adelie lately and in a record time similar like you ...

Hi,
I hope you look occasionally still into the forum or are you sailing all the time in sunny Australia ?

Re: Adelie16 from a land down under

Hi Salvatore, I have a question about your additional hatch on the foredeck. Because I always battle to get to the mast fittings I want to build also such a hatch like you did so that I can stand in the cabin and can have my hands at the mast partner and mast fittings. Can you please just tell me yo...

Vendee Globe 2020

Hi, For all you sailors sitting at home in Winter weather there is a tip to follow the Vendee Globe race right into January 2021. I will do exactly that because my sailing is restricted to a few Summer day sails. https://www.vendeeglobe.org/en I think on this link you might have fun. Greetings from ...

Re: CLOSED -- November 2, 2020 @ 9p ET -- Forum/gallery upgrade and migration

Hi Jayson,
Was surprised about the migration to Boat Builder Central but find my way around it, but most I was surprised that you did this and I always thought you built a sailboat and are a sailor like all of us. Well done with this update.

Re: ST21 'Skinnydip' build, and boating adventures, Noosa, Australia

Just beautiful, From the side I can see exactly how your temporary frames are mounted and it gives me advise for the MI Bateau Boat plan which I have not completely discarded yet because my six sheets of 4 mm top quality Okoume plywood are waiting in the loft of my house already very long. Build on ...
