That looks a bit nasty!
With the orientation of those fracture lines and the look of that "tear-out", I would have guessed that the damaging force was from stern to bow direction :doh:

Well today marks a significant milestone for me - the external hull laminations are complete!!!!!! Thanks Jeff, piperdown, OrangeQuest, Eric, Fuzz and Fallguy. I have the Starboard side all prepped for glassing tomorrow :D Piperdown we have fruit orchards and are just about to commence our harvest. There is also all the weed control, fertilizing, irrigating etc... that comes with the warming weat...

Very nice glassing in a difficult location Fallguy. Overhead glassing is the most difficult of all. Its not surprising you ended up with the classic epoxy hairdo :lol: Did you get all 4 beam socket done or just the one? In Australia you can get disposable plastic arm protectors for such situations -...

Still chipping away at it guys.
