Yes for sure. Not as bad as salt water but some lakes including this one deposit iron and manganese. Tough to get off.

She’s settling in to lake life quite nicely. Added a triangle of decking in the boat slip that’s gonna make gassing her up a lot easier.

Caught ten today 2 to 4 1/4 lbs (kept 5). Lyn pictured with 2 1/2 pounder. Did not try the down jigging method as they did not show up in large groups. Boat is still doing nicely. My epoxy coating comment was only concerning the shelf under the tanks. I know nothing about aluminum tanks but that sounds like some cheap insurance and sound advice.

Browndog’s FS19 has a single tank between stringers. Are you coating that plywood base with plenty of epoxy?

Hadn’t thought about that since I finalized things with Progressive. Boat has not been trailered except to get it to the lake where it resides in a boat house. I do need to look back into full coverage. Thanks
