You won't find staples in silicon bronze. They're made in SS and monel, but I don't believe in the size you're looking for. Rick, Have you considered using an 8 degree down angle gear box instead. It looks like there is enough room for it. If so you could have the engine sitting almost perfectly level. You can use either a vetus bullflex or a federal flexible coupling with soft mounts to take out any vibration transmitte...

Is the hydrostatic data available for the TW28? All that's listed on the plans in LOA 28'2" PPI 920, the max beam and displacement light and full. The waterline length is not given, nor other hydrostatic data such as Centre of Buoyancy, Waterline Area, Block Coefficient, Prismatic Coefficient, ...

Good to see that you picked up and engine! What made you go with Yanmar? I thought that you were looking at a rebuilt perkins.
