Re: Insurance

I went with BoatUS https://www.boatus.com/
I had no problem getting insurance for my OB-17 for $21,000 for around $250 a year.

Re: OB19 build in Texas******A Boat is never done

Thanks guys. Will, I'll have to check on the gage, I don't recall. I absolutely love the trolling motor. I'm anxious to see how it hold in the wind with the T-Top installed. I've had it hold when it was so rough I had to sit on the bow with my feet hanging over to keep the motor in the water. Steve...

What gauge wire did you use from your trolling motor to battery/breaker? I'm ordering the same setup you have. How are you liking it?

Re: Anyone Fishing?

Here's a picture of the stringer with 17 bluegills of varying sizes. We could have easily added 3 times this many with about another hour or so of fishing, but as is often the case, little kids begin to get antsy. Overall, one the best fishing days I've ever had :D :D http://gallery.bateau2.com/alb...

Fishing was pretty bad, lots of rain and fresh water. Caught about 7 Redfish but they were all 16 or 17 inches....beautiful blue tails though. And 2 short Speckled Trout.....lots of sun and clear water at the islands though!!
