Re: Why use Silvertip Epoxy?
I used all Marine Poxy and I used the slow hardener and never had any blush. Did a lot of wet on wet, if I went much over a 24 hour period I would sand to get a good mechanical bond.

Re: Need help about HDPE textured
Thanks AA,
That looks like great adhesive but you need the special gun to dispense it.
For my little job I should be good with screws.
You do very nice work AA no matter the material your working with

Re: Need help about HDPE textured
3m 4200 or 5200 doesn’t really stick to starboard. It kinda tacks it together but a little bit of stress will pop it apart. Use stainless steel screws. Drill and countersink. Outdoor kitchen I built with black starboard boxes. All screwed together, no glue. 8FE178DE-2A93-45CA-96FB-D5CE3657E342.jpeg...

Thanks Topwater,
I think I found what your talking about: Sudbury Elastomeric Marine Sealant
Looks like pretty good stuff, I think I'll give it a try and add screws.
I really like the 5200, but here in Arizona with low humidity it takes forever to cure.

Re: Need help about HDPE textured
Thanks Fallguy,
but curious as to why I wouldn't use 5200 instead of 4200? I want and need a strong and permanent bond
Also can this be cut on a table saw? It would be 1/2" thick?
