Re: Runabout, powered by PWC

Re: Lake Erie Boat
If you really want the C17, put a 15 HP kicker on it, and remove the main when you go to the smaller lakes. Like anything else, you need to decide based on the majority of your uses. If Erie is going to be the primary target, pick a design for that, and then adapt for other usage. I think I have com...

Re: Daft Boot (almost) 1 year on... FS17, San Diego, CA
That's probably more info than is in order for a "launch" thread, which this really isn't, since the boat has been in the water for almost a year. Not at all, I for one want to hear about the things you would change. While many things are specific for just you, most are things we could al...

It's a bit over 400ml / sq meter. The spreader works real nice to get a good saturated cloth, without over doing it with resin. I'll share the bits I learned that might help. Plan ahead and tell everyone not helping to leave you alone. wear clothing that you don't mind throwing away when you done wi...

I don't recall ever seeing a seagull that looked that good. The boat looks very nice, good combination of the painted surfaces and the bright wood accents.

Though before I by lots of plans maybe I should start with a canoe. Yep. I have also seen (elsewhere) planes for child size canoes and kayaks, maybe you could make a fleet! Someone made a plan, loosely based on Jacques CC, that is built from one sheet, good for up to about 80 pounds according...

Your 'non-skid' floor treatment might just be the coolest part. Nice little boat.
