I do not have plans for the OD16 so I only can tell you about the OD18. On the 18 there were two stringers. The stringers were made out of 8 foot plywood. To get the needed length two pieces had to be spliced together. The reason it looks like two different stringers is because the splice is offset....

Must be living in one of the higher elevation places there. From my buddies place in New Mexico it can be70f and 30 minutes drive you can be riding a snowmachine. Pretty neat place.

I prefer the 2-1 epoxys. They seem to be a little more forgiving of small mixing mistakes. As for brands I have used 5-6 of the big name brands and do not see much difference in them.
