If you’re looking for a center console version, I’m pretty sure the OD18 is basically a CC version of the HM19.
I don’t see any reason it can’t be removed as long as you account for weight shifts forward and aft. I’m sure Jacques or one of the Bateau guys will answer directly as well though.

I haven’t looked at the Curlew specifically, but Devlin designs usually rely on a much thicker plywood core with fiberglass skins to protect the plywood. The design here kind of the opposite (in my simple brain). Jacques seems to use the plywood to make the shape of the boat and the biax fiberglass ...
