I would get rid of the KiwiGrip around the gas fill and paint it with your paint so you won't have this problem ever again. Other wise it will keep happening.

Re: C19 - Major Structural Issues - Progress
Tom I would go ahead and go ahead and extend your C19 you already have all the expense of building it and it will only cost you a couple of thousand more to stretch it. You have built two boats and know what you are doing. So do what you want. I think you are really doing the right thing in drying o...

They provide flotation at the dock but when on plane there is no flotation available. See http://www.armstrongnautical.com/brackets.htm

Re: Cape Man's Dory
cape man I was thinking that the prop you had on your motor was a 13 pitch so lack of information was why I said 11 pitch. Is your curren prop a 3 blade or 4 blade. If a 3 blade you will probably need to go down another inch in pitch, if a 4 blade you should be good.

Fallguy brackets have been discussed on the C19 many times it is just to light and Jacques counsels against putting one on it. The LCG moves to far back with a bracket. Unless he's changed his mind over the last 7 or 8 years.

Re: Paddles
Outstanding paddle. Nothing better than some beautiful wood work to bring some bling to your boat. :D :D :D And don't feel bad about your paddle against the pro designed paddles, yours is every bit as good. I am very familiar in what it takes to produce these multi-wood pieces. My dad was doing them...
