Re: Question for folks in Western Wa.
Man I feel for you, that restaurant biz is horrible on families and relationships. We've got some friends that own some joints and wow it's a ton of work. Not sure the TX18 is my favorite for that area, but just personal opinion I suppose. They can be a little "sneezy" and wouldn't be all...

Re: Question for folks in Western Wa.
You know, there might be an LB22 available in about a year. That would be an absolutely SWEET boat for the South Sound area, and has the legs and chin to handle trips up to the San Juans and points between in decent weather. Glad to have you in the PNW, if you drift over the hill, come say hi in Sp...

Re: Question for folks in Western Wa.
Matt, I've been on Puget Sound all my life (62 years). South Sound is VERY protected, more like a lake than "salt water". You are never more than 15-20 minutes from shelter of some kind, if only the lee of an island. That's is not to say there is never chop. But south sound is very differ...

Re: Question for folks in Western Wa.
Hey Matt, Glad to hear you're finally getting ready to build. Interestingly, I'm thinking of moving to WA as well... my brother is in Seattle and I don't have any ties to SD. I occasionally keep an eye on the weather in the sound up there, my brother calls it "protected" but I think I kno...

Re: Question for folks in Western Wa.
BC, My end goal is the DE25 long cabin. Being from the North Carolina coast I have always loved the Down East style boats. If it wasn't for my wife needing creature comforts though I'd do the P21. I just want to takle something a little smaller and cheaper first to see if I even want to take on a pr...

Question for folks in Western Wa.
Have recentlly moved to area and am very close to being in a position to build. Looking to mainly fish the south sound and lakes, also rivers if possible. I am having a problem deciding what platform to go with. I also would like the boat to be comfortable enough for the family, wife and 1 year old....

Re: Any builders near Wilmington NC
I grew up not far from Wilmington NC. If you are young, single and like the ladies I would head there instead of PNW. Summertime in Wilmington has some very nice scenery
