New designs / upcoming plans / future expectations
I have seem in a couple different threads where people (mostly Jacques) talk about future projects and new designs that are being worked on. Is there a place in the forum or somewhere else where Bateau has listed what new designs they are working on and the timeline for anything to be introduced? Ju...

Re: Reefie's LB26
Reefie, This is an awesome build. I am new to the community and just discovered this thread. I definitely want to watch you finish this! Seeing at how clean and awesome everything that you have done to this point, I can only imagine how creative and professional the finished boat will look like. Now...

Re: System 3 Yacht Primer thickening
Here is a tediously long description: Thanks for that excellent description! I don't know what to do, and I still need to read books watch videos etc. But you seem "value minded" like me while also caring about doing a good job... so I thought I would ask what you did. Again, thanks! I th...

Re: Wouter's PH18 Namibia
Wouter, I am new to the forum and have been asking questions about bass boats. Wegcagle alerted me to your build (and BassMunn’s) and all I can say is wow! 8O You are making an incredibly great looking boat! I’m not quite to the boat building phase yet, but I am definitely “subscribed” to your build...

Re: System 3 Yacht Primer thickening
I have an in-between approach. Since like Fuzz, I anticipated that my boat will get a lot of dings, I didn't invest in expensive two-part paint. Hi terrulian, Would you mind going into more detail about your approach? What primers and top coats do you use and what is your technique to getting as pe...

Re: Bass Boat
I say split the difference and go for the PH18! See the current bass boat build Namibia PH18 8) Will That boat and BassMunn's sure put a lot of cool ideas in your (my) head of how to make a cool looking boat! How much harder is it to build an 18' boat vs at 16' boat? How much more of a pain ...

Re: Bass Boat
Ha Ha!!! That is a tough combo! Too funny... Ok Will... you have been very informative and I appreciate that, but I also curse you at the same time! :x I show up to the community, take a look around at the plans, and am thinking the GP21-BB is for sure what I want to do--I just want to ask a few que...

Re: Bass Boat
Sexy is good. I’m a normal man and appreciate good curves as much as anyone. 8) I think it is also fair to say that sexy can be dangerous too... especially as it applies to 16 year old boys!!! :!: Another valid point to take into consideration as we look into the most appropriate choice for th...

Re: Bass Boat
Reading about all the boat builds is a double edged sword: it inspires and scares me at the same time! I am half way through the the build threads for both wegcagle and bassmun. And I'm reading Peter's build stories too--both of them! It is cool to see all the support and camaraderie that exists her...
