One place to be careful is when scarfing or butt joiinting the bottom panels or side panels: dont make 2 left sides! If scarfing not an issue but a butt block on the outside of the boat is going to get some looks.

Also, the volume of the hull is increased 33% (1.1^3) . So for the new larger boat to sit at the same waterline as designed the weight would need to be 33% more, not necessarily 10% more. Phil This is a mindbender. I like it! If you scaled up a photo of the boat that had an accurate waterline paint...

I've been pleasantly surprised by the oyster white I used by total boat. I originally thought it was too beige but now I love it, if you're looking for off-white suggestions.

I'll also say that once I got it figured out, the grit that bbc sells makes great non skid.
