Re: Quikfair Questions
I'll say again, Sikkens Kombi Putty worked great for me and I had lots of pinholes. It was dead easy. I smeared it on with a finger, waited 5 mminutes and sanded it down in a moment. Have used it under Sterling, EMC, and enamal w/o trouble. Has anyone else used it?

Re: Quikfair Questions
Maybe not, I'd try a real light coat. Otherwise: https://www.myrefinishportal.com/us/en/sikkens-kombi-putty-tube-200g.html This stuff worked great for me. DaveTX shared it with me a long time ago. He used it on cars. For sure blow out the area well. Then spread a dab of this super thin. 5 minutes to...

Re: GT23
I built the LB22 w/o help so yeah, in sections, just like you wrote. Years later there are no delaminaations so I don't see much wrong with "wet on dry". Little bit of sanding and lay the next section on or stay inside the 24hr window and just proceed. I know a mechanical bond is not as st...

Re: I have a dream
Seems to me like we got a bit of thread drift going here. Fallguy's topic is tinting, not function. We know the epoxy is good and works well. We "dream" about some better tinting is all.

Re: Bulbous bows
Well I can finally wrap my mind around it enough to visualize it. My first thought was my God it's like building two bizarrely shaped, super strong kayaks. That and they gotta fit just so on the bow hulls. Hats off to you.
