I got my plans 5 days after I ordered and I live on the opposite corner of the US in Washington State.

I was happy with that.

Thanks for your input. Yeah, I'm not going to put any tabs on to start with. Wait to see how the C17 behaves first. I was just curious to see if JimW did anything special for trim so I can plan ahead.

Thanks for the response Jim. I've never owned a motor big enough to have power trim. So I've always had to use other means to do it: weight distribution and/or fin.

Did you have to do anything on your C19 for proper trim, like adding tabs? I plan to start building a C17 in a month so I'm curious if I'll need to do something.

Simplicity has its advantages. I like that about your hatches and they are flush with the deck and can be painted the same color. Only the hinge sticks up a little.

Did you fiberglass them for strenght?

I have a question about your GF18. I was just looking at pictures you posted late last year and liked your hatch covers. Did you make them yourself?
