I've been real lucky with all the fish and other assorted funky cuts I've had over the years, never much worried about them unless they needed stitches, but I ain't like most people  I know a few who have had serious prob...

Congrats! Now she is officially a boat :D Dang nice one too 8) How do people mark the hull ID number on the boat? The neatest way is to get a metal tag laser engraved at a trophy shop. Epoxy and rivet it on. Unless you are very good with a router. They are only a few dollars. http://i1244.photobucke...

I wanted to do the grinding outside but the temp was in single digits and I do not handle the cold as well as I use to :( 8O I'd move :!: :!: Yep, an angle grinder will get-er-done, but it's an implement of destruction if not used with a light touch :help: And I know you have a mess of dust to clea...

That is a nasty job that I don't envy! At least you got it done

The Jasco works great and will usually peel off one coat of paint at a time. Just be real careful not to get it on your skin, it will strip skin off too and burn the beejeezus out of you And DO NOT get it in your eyes

Re: When to coat wood?
This is what I prefer. My shop is open and a water hose is the best way to handle all the dust. I coat it once as soon as possible.or apply the tape and coat the bare wood so you can wash the whole hull?
