Re: LB26

For a boat this size I would section it off and have bilge pump in each section in the center of the boat. That is how my big boat(38) is, three sections, 3 bilges in the center, foam in the outside compartments with limber holes to drain into the middle of the boat. There is also I high level pipe ...

Re: LM18 Trailer - Float-On

Wow, that is a great trailer. The only thing I would add would be a roller on the back. I have launched at a bunch of shallow launches where the sharp bow hits between the bulks when I crank it on. The trailer for my lm18 came from a boat from 1978. It has the old school galvanizing, and while the h...

Re: Anyone have any experience with electric engines (TW28)

I have a done a bunch of research in this idea. The only feasible solution is to have a hybrid. Check out the Volvo hybrid drive system. It is a diesel inline power system that combines the shaft for both power generation for charging batteries and has a shaft output for running on diesel at speed. ...

Re: 2008 Everglades 325 CC

I got a nice side shot of the new white motors when I was down tarpon fishing. Also built a new removable high mounted cutting board for bait welded up some scrap 1.5 in aluminum tubing. The top separates from the field goal shaped stand, and the pole is also removeable. I made it in wisconsin, and ...

Re: Help setting up MFDs

Some MFD's have an aux power source to power other units, radar, transducers, and other networked devises. Meaning when you turn on the unit it turns on several other devises. the 15 amp might be for that, so while the unit only pulls 2 amp you could plug in an auto pilot unit that pulls another 4 a...

Re: Paddle Board Plans

I think I found something of interest.

https://sliverpaddleboards.com/

They sell the frame templates, it looks like a ton of shaping and sanding. Perfect relaxation, as I kind of like sanding once I get into it.

Paddle Board Plans

I'm thinking of building a paddle board. Do you have paddle board foam plans laying around?

Thanks

Re: 2008 Everglades 325 CC

The last thing I did prior to leaving florida on my second to last trip out, my raw water washdown pump failed. It was the original, I think getting 14 years out of a salt water washdown pump was get. Hopefully the new ones lasts as long. Future projects: build a removable cutting board that sits ab...
