Re: LM18 Madison Wi Building questions

Thanks for the info. I think I’ll though 2 to 4x8 sheet of ply on top to check for gaps and level prior to fixing the bulk heads.

Better to check now.

Thanks

Re: LM18 Madison Wi Building questions

Big day. The bottom turned out great with some minor bumps of clumped graphite the size of a head of a pen other than that super smooth. When I flipped it I noticed the gap on the bottom of the second station is off by an 1 on the bottom center and a .5 on the other side on the stringers. I could fi...

The bottom in pretty flat, oR should I build a jig to hold it. I don’t have a trailer yet. I’m thinking of buying a 20 enclosed trailer and ha...

Re: LM18 in Perry, GA

Been there. I mixed a 10 oz. batch by weight that didn’t set. I switched to mixing it by volume and never had an issue again.

Re: Lm18 madison wi

Luckily, the ice doesn't start until December, but I would love to have it finished for when I go to florida over Thanksgiving. I'm prepping everything so that when I get back I can start right into the graphite epoxy bottom. In my head I have the rest of it designed. The only thing I'm having troub...

Re: LM18 Madison Wi Building questions

I just realized that both of those pics were not good. I'll take better pics of the razor blade on the front. Next time I pour I'll try to get an action shot.
Thanks
