Re: 2008 Everglades 325 CC
First Major project - Electrical switch panel This boat had key pad switches. They are horrible. The circuit boards have no place in a saltwater environment. I went through 2 live well pumps, 2 bilge pumps, and numerous electrical short where things wouldn’t work. I went with new wire marine printed...

2008 Everglades 325 CC
We bought this boat over 7 years ago, and it is starting to show it age. Here is the original selling video of the boat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sW-KPimD-Vw&list=WL&index=44 I figure I will share what I did, what I’m working on, and what I plan to do. Electrical panel – complete Main...

Re: FS18 on Cape Cod!
Just remember to over support the wiring. The gauges you have to use is heavy and when your pounding it add a bunch of snap weight. Back in my younger days I tried supporting 4 awg wiring for a trolling motors from the back to the front (22'). I was breaking zip ties and heavy duty ss straps where t...

Re: Spray Rail Ideas?
I found an original video when it was a tiller, before I converted to a wheel. I was dialing in the prior and realized that the transom angle was to sharp and I needed shims. Attached is a video passing my own wake, the shims I needed to get negative trim, and a pic you can zoom in on to see how far...

Re: Spray Rail Ideas?
I have an LM18 I don't believe spray rails are required. What I did is add an additional strips of rub rail so that the rub rail sticks out from the side of the hull about 1.5-2 inches all the way around. Then I fitted the rub rail on the boat so that the water that rid up the side is redirected dow...

Re: Tunnel for LM18
My lm18 runs 34mph with a 50 you will probably run around the same with a 40 because your planning lighter than I built. I'm not sure what the answers is for the skeg with a tunnel, but when you have a small boat running 30+ it is a lots faster than you think. Also, when I turn at speed, I couldn't ...

Re: Trent's FS14 LS Build
I think you rub rail is upside down. If you hook that 1/4 kick out under the rub rail then as water splashed up the hull it dies into the rub rail as it hangs over. It made my ride extremely dry for a little boat.

Re: Tunnel for LM18
What is the weight of the 40 stroke? I have a 50 on my LM18 same weight as a 40 in the 4 stroke world. It does change the attitude of the boat at rest. understanding that the tunnel will drop the tail in the water even more plan to add batteries and gas in the front to balance. For me the added weig...
