Well I'm curious now on the keel straightness issue and your idea Eric. My approach was to fuss with it until I reached the "good 'nuff" stage. Not too scientific. And thanks for the jar idea with acetone Kiwi. Vinegar may not be quite enough I think, though it seem fine for my hands if I ...

Very nice Eric, you're offically ahead of me :) I'm still fooling with the bow fillet. I wait too long after putting on poxy and then need to sand it to put more on. Takes more than I figured but I'm close. I used one of those rollers on making the panel glass scarfs and sure like it. But, mind you,...

Man you move fast and smooth. No way I can keep up with you and the Captain. Fine pictures, C Larry, they make a fellow feel good.

Take pictures Eric! I guess I'm lucky having a West Marine nearby but really I don't do much business there. Not much help from folks there, although they are polite and try. I prefer to do business here.

Hoping your pumps come in while you ski Dougster :)

Well, maybe not too bad msu.....I just did 20 minutes with my new overpriced toy, the Festool RO150 with minivac. The only other sanding I've done is on the learning dinghy project last year using a cheapo Sears ROS. That was plenty dusty, but there was no discernable dust with the Festool/minivac c...

Well, that freezer idea is cool. I've been chunkin' them too. I keep vinegar around for me, since I think I'm a bit sensitive to poxy. No troubles of late---if I get a bit on my wrist or a glove breaks I stop and clean with vinegar. Just takes a minute.

Pretty cool, Ivorybills 30 yrs ago. Why not now? Re: Archie's chair: Nah, like I say, I pull left  Done some sittin'/thinkin'/drinkin' there though. I just got through pulling all screws, straps, wires, etc. and everything held together, so tomorrow I'm gonna hit it with the ROS a bit, then po...

Ah, I had thought you were gonna put the glass on top of wet tape. Even if it works that way, what a long day for one guy 8O I like the way you cut all the tape and cloth first and label it. Ducks in a row kind of thing. I'm not too clear on the corners, how to fold, cut whatever. Guess I need to ch...
