doc that 90 will be more then enough, i'm plenty happy with my merc 60 bigfoot. it spins the same prop as the 90/115, but a few lbs lighter. i think anything larger would be over kill

We launched the boat Sunday in Chass and headed out to Black Rock which is about 12 miles south into hernando county. This was as far as i've ran the boat so far. looking good cape man, I think i found that rock you hit in chass not too long ago. it sure did a number on my skeg on my brand new merc 60! I've ran the same route for 15 years and still find a new one from time to time. I'm glad i got the first one out of the way.

I did the break in period for the new motor today, she runs like a top. caught some redfish, Life is good!
The 15 p powertech 4 blade is a little much and i need to down pitch about 2" to get the rest of my rpms i need. I heard you can have the prop guy do that so it shouldn't be an issue.

could have been the acetone but never really had an issue with it before, but i have been rushing this last month or two to get on the water before this winters fishing season ends... I got the Mercury 60 Seapro Big Tiller Big Foot mounted this afternoon. should be a perfect fit for the boat. i'm having some paint peeling off the boat in a few spots but i'd rather ignore that right now lol

everything was sanded with 180 then washed with water and wiped with acetone...
