Re: OB15 (LS)

Stinkyface,

Looks good so far. Don't worry about the strongback being off by an inch. Just make sure that when you attach your frames they are completely square. Measure diagonally between every frame. This will help you get off to a good start when you stitch your panels.
Best of luck!!!

Re: My FS18 Straight Shear hard chine

Johnstonjosh, Swglenn is correct. When you attempt to pull in the sides with ratchet straps you will more than likely create flat spots. An easy way to combat this is to install your rubrails first. This will help disperse the load evenly across the hull once you start to ratchet and eliminate any p...

Re: LM18 "Cast & Blast"

Brian, The reason builders like to epoxy the tape and wide cloth at the same time is to achieve a chemical bond and really good mechanical bond between the tape and wide cloth. This is call working "wet on wet". This is a preferred method, however, it is certainly not an issue if you don't...

Re: 1984 Grady White 242 Caribbean Transom Repair

IpswichGrady, Fuzz is spot on with his comments! 40% is a good percentage. As a point of reference, infusion is about 60% fiberglass percentage. Having used both the foam cigar and 1/8" mohair corona rollers, I can tell you that the mohair rollers don't soak up as much epoxy so they have a long...

Re: Sk14 build

Great idea, I want one. Reid, how about you cut one round holder like that with some of the CNC kits? There is sometimes enough ply left. PS: my bucket will be a Walmart one, not a Yeti. :D Jacques, Crystal and I will get on it right away!!! However, I don't see a place for a beer? May have ...

Re: Local pick up instead of shipping

Like Jacques already stated, you are welcome to pick up your CNC kit from our warehouse in Vero Beach. Depending on the kit you are looking at, I would need a few days to get the kit cut and ready for pick-up. Address: 1360 SW Old Dixie Hwy., Vero Beach, FL 32962 Please give me a call to with any qu...

Re: PG 25 - Bow mold dimension

TomTom,

I apologize but some how all the dimensions for the US version did not get transferred to the Metric version. Here is a pic of the US version. Translation would be 12 inches = 305mm and 4-3/8 inches = 111mm. Hope this helps!
