thank you all.... its getting little warmer and i am itching to get back to the boat..... there are a couple of things that need fixing or re-doing... the fairing is 98% ... im not settling for that.. so more filler and sanding in sight.... and the anti-skid treatment turned out to be like 16 grit r...

if you are going to run that speed i would think a monohedron hull like the scaled MG20 being built by barraman is the way to go.. you could properly have jacques scale it even more and sell your house to buy a fiveseven outboard :lol: but id personally prefer the AB23 and spend a little longer cove...

i mounted my "console" on the front frame... that way i sit on the mid seat, and can still row the boat, i figured that i could resolve trim issues by relocating the battery and fuel tank, but have made provisions for both up front on the GF14 : http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s295/deuc...

thanks for the kind words btw... im really really glad the inside is ready for paint too.... it will make it feel like a true sprint to the finish once we break out the polyurethane :-)

yeah those are indeed snow shovels, and the thermo boiler suit was a must have item .... as the ice in my cup of previously hot beverage clearly shows

next time im building a boat im buying a flexicat .... it seems st be an infinitely faster way to get n even layer of filler on a compound curve....
